Website Updates
Throughout the year we currently update our website with new pictures, events, policies etc. Please check website regularly. A new link has been added to website for school money!

After School Clubs
Our afterschool clubs will start on Monday 18th September. All children should know which clubs they are attending. There are still a few spaces in Dance Fusion and Eco Club if anyone would like to take part, let Dawn know on Monday morning.

School Uniform
We are delighted to see children coming to school looking so smart in full school uniform. Children should be wearing black school shoes during the day but children in P4 – P7 can change into trainers at break/lunch time if they are playing football. Please make sure all items of school uniform have children’s names on them

Rec/P1 Picture
Can all reply slips for the P1 chronicle supplement please be returned to school on or before 28th September please.

223 Club
223 club continues to run Monday – Friday. The timetable for 223 club will be:

Friends of Dunseverick
Our first meeting for this year will be held on Wednesday 27th September 2017 at 7pm. This will be held in school and we welcome all existing and any new parents or friends. Get your thinking caps on for some interesting fundraising ideas.

Book Fair
Our annual book fair will be held on Wednesday 4th and Thursday 5th October. More details will follow.

Exceptional Closure
Just a reminder that school will be closed for pupils on Friday 6th October.

P5/6 Viking Day
Mrs Scott’s class are looking forward to next Wednesday for their Vicious Viking Day. We look forward to hearing all about it and seeing the pictures.

Friday Newsletter
We will continue to send newsletters via email and post them on the school website. Any parent who did not receive the letter via email last year and would like to receive it this year, please send me an email and I can add you to the mailing list. My email is [email protected]

Termly Newsletter
Each child will have received a termly newsletter today to give an overview of what is happening in each class during the months of September and October. Please read these with your child.

Further dates for your diary
A list of dates has been sent home highlighting important events happening in school. We will keep parents informed of any new dates or any changes that need to be made.

After School Clubs
Our afterschool clubs will start week beginning 18th September. A list of clubs is being sent home. Please complete and return to school as soon as possible.

Music Tuition
Mr Elliot (violin) and Miss McDermott (flute & clarinet) have spaces available for any child (p4 – P7) wishing to learn violin, flute or clarinet. Please contact Dawn if you would like your child to be considered for this.

School Development Plan
On Wednesday you should have received a summary of our school development plan. Read through this with your child and let them see what’s happening in school.

223 Club

We will continue to use school money for payments being made to school.

Friday Letter – 1st September 2017

Welcome Back

We hope you all had an enjoyable and relaxing summer.  It was lovely to welcome all our children back to school for another great year.

We have decided to change our Wednesday newsletter to a Friday newsletter. Healthy Eating

We encourage healthy eating within our school and are very fortunate to have our own school kitchen providing healthy, nutritious meals on a daily basis.  We also offer an early morning breakfast club and break club with items;
