 P7 School Placement Letters

Pupils in P7 will receive their placement letters this Saturday to let them know what school they will transfer to in September.  The Education Authority have asked me to advise parents that any child who does not receive their placement letter on Saturday will be able to contact Transfer Branch staff to confirm placement details.
Parents can contact Transfer Branch staff on telephone number  028 25662306 between the hours of 3.00pm and 5.00pm on Saturday 28 May 2016.  Staff will be available to confirm placement details only.  Any other Transfer related queries should be withheld until the office re-opens on Tuesday 31 May 2016.

Any pupil who won a cup or trophy last year should now return this to school so that we can get organised for prize day.
If you are in touch with a Yr8 who won something last year please mention this to them.

Sports Day
We are hoping to run our sports day next Friday 3rd June at 10.00 a.m.  The races will be held on the green at the back of school as usual.  Parents are asked to bring their own chair and refrain from taking video footage for child protection reasons.  Parents may wish to bring a picnic lunch – the children will be invited to take their packed lunch outside or the canteen will offer a takeaway lunch.  Prizes will be presented the week after sports day at an assembly.
We are hoping to offer tea, coffee and refreshments again.  If you would be willing to make a traybake or some scones please contact Moira in the office.
We encourage all children to participate in sports day and ask you to remind your child the event is first and foremost about having fun.  Any child who does not wish to take part will not be forced to but will not receive a participation award.
Thank you in advance for your support of this event – I understand this is always a great day and I am looking forward to it.
