Parent Consultations
Parent Consultations for pupils in Primary 1 – Primary 6 will take place between Monday 13th February and Wednesday 15th February. Transfer Consultations for Primary 7 pupils will take place on Tuesday 31st January. All pupils will finish school at 2pm on Monday 13th, Tuesday 14th and Wednesday 15th February. There will be no 223 club for these 3 days but a DVD will run in hall from 2pm – 3pm for children whose parents are attending interviews. Both buses will run at 2pm. Parent consultation dates and times are being sent home today. Please check school bags.

Half Term
Just a reminder for all parents that school will be closed on Thursday 16th, Friday 17th, Monday 20th and Tuesday 21st February for half term break. School will reopen on Wednesday 22nd February. Breakfast club and 223 club will recommence on this day as well.

School Website
We are very fortunate to have a fantastic school website which is designed and hosted by parents & local business supporters of our school. We would encourage parents and visitors to make regular visits to our website where you will find up-to-date information about what is going on in school to include updated policies and procedures, class information and pictures and also important dates and events which have been added to the calendar.

Bushmills Education Centre
There is a petition in school which parents can sign in relation to the closure of the Bushmills Education Centre. Please feel free to pop into Dawn and sign the petition on or before Wednesday 8th February.

P6/7 Woodhall Trip
Just a reminder that the final amount for the Woodhall trip needs to be paid by Wednesday 1st March 2017.

World Book Day
World Book day this year is on 2nd March. Unfortunately school is closed on that date for the election so we have decided to celebrate World Book Day, on Wednesday 1st March. We are looking forward to welcoming a story teller into school on that day and also seeing the children dress up as a favourite character out of a book. We would encourage children to design and make their own costumes and also to bring their favourite book/story into school on that day so we can share with the rest of the class.
