World Book Day

Parent Consultations
Thank you for supporting the teachers by attending parent consultations and collecting the children early this week, we really do welcome the opportunity to discuss pupils’ progress.

After – Schools Clubs
There are still a few spaces left for Drama, Ulster Scots, Hockey and Arts and Crafts. Please note Hockey is on a Thursday (starting 1st March not on 28th February) as stated on previous letter.

World Book Day
On Thursday 1st March we will be celebrating World Book Day. We are asking that children come to school that day dressed up as a favourite character from a book. We look forward to celebrating a themed day in school. We would also like children in P1, P2 and P3 to stay in school until 3pm on Thursday 1st March. A letter has been sent home today with P1 – P3 children today.

Valentine’s Disco
Thank you to Friends of Dunseverick for organising our Valentine’s Disco. All our children had a fantastic night.

Spring Tea
On Thursday 15th March we are hosting a Vintage Afternoon Tea for parents, grandparents and friends of Dunseverick Primary School. Judith, our school cook, will be providing the Afternoon tea and our children will be performing songs, poems, drama during the afternoon. The cost of the afternoon tea will be £7 per person. Please book spaces by contacting Dawn. We have 80 tickets available and will be issued on a first come first served basis. We are looking forward to this afternoon and welcoming everyone in to school and watching our children perform.

Smiles Foundation
We are welcoming Barbara Morrison into assembly on Tuesday 27th February at 9.30am. We will be presenting Barbara with a cheque from our Christmas Collections. Barbara will be talking to the children and showing them what Smiles Foundation is all about. If you are free and want to pop into assembly to hear all about it, please come along.

See Saw Playgroup
Seesaw Playgroup is holding a Table Quiz on Thursday 22nd March at 7.30pm in the Community Centre. Admission is £4 per adult and will include refreshments. Tickets will also be on sale for the Easter Draw.
