Please see letter and questionnaire sent home today. I hope you will make time to respond honestly so that we can make Dunseverick an even better place to learn!
We are pleased our P6’s and 7’s have returned safe and sound from their many adventures at Woodhall. I am delighted to report that the centre staff were very impressed by the children’s behaviour, manners and enthusiasm. I would like to thank Mrs Taggart, Mr Bell, Mrs Boyd and Zara for organising and attending the trip – they also looked rather worn out by Friday!
Please note Miss McDermott will be in school this Friday 11th March for music lessons in lieu of Monday 4th April – don’t forget your instrument!
The Irish Astronomical Association (IAA) will be in Portballintrae on 18th March. Derek Heatly has asked school to let you know he will be attending the event to sell items for charity.
Our eagerly anticipated Grandparents’ Dinner has been rescheduled for Thursday 14th April at 12:45 p.m.
Vegetable Broth & Wheaten Bread
Braised Steak in a Chasseur Sauce
Roast Potatoes / Creamed Potatoes

Speech & Drama Festival
Next week, 35 of our children will be participating in the festival at the Town Hall, Portstewart. You should already have the date, time and class your child is entered for. If not please contact the office. If your child has not yet received a Competitor’s Ticket, this will be given out on arrival at the Town Hall on the day. A member of staff will be present at each session to offer support to the children. Please ensure that you arrive in plenty of time and we are advised that the audience in the Competition Hall are not allowed to record, video or take photographs. We wish the children well and hope that they will all find this to be a positive and worthwhile experience.
