To celebrate ‘Maths Week’, all boys and girls from Primary 4 to Primary 7 took part in a maths challenge afternoon. The year groups were mixed up and separated into 4 teams where they spent time at 4 different stations: Shape, Capacity, Money & Problem Solving. All children got to earn points for their team by working together to solve the puzzles at each station. A fantastic effort was made by all the children! Well Done to the winning team who have a special treat during their next Golden Time afternoon!
Some boys and girls from Primary 7 travelled to play in a football tournament at Armoy Primary school on Thursday 18th October. The boys and girls showed great teamwork and came away with their heads held high after winning 2 games, drawing 1 and losing 1. It was a fantastic afternoon….well done Dunseverick Football team!
P7 have been learning about data handling in Numeracy. In groups they designed a survey, collected data from the whole school and presented their findings in a table and graph.
