Our open day for prospective Reception and P1 pupils will take place on Friday 9th December from 1.30pm – 2.30pm and also between 6pm and 7pm. A letter will be sent home requesting members of school council and some musicians to attend the open evening. We would also like if some parents were available either in the afternoon or evening to help out talking to perspective parents.
P1’s will be going home at 1.00pm on this day and will need to be collected by car as buses will not be available at 1pm.
Just a reminder that breakfast club is still running from 8.00am until 8.40am every morning. If your child has to be in school before 8.40am they should pay for (£1.05) and use Breakfast Club.

Our movie and munch night is being held on Thursday 15th December. We are delighted that our ‘Friends of Dunseverick’ are organising this event. It will cost £2 per child which will include popcorn and hot chocolate. Children will be allowed to wear their onesies or pyjamas.
All children will have received song words or scripts for our Christmas productions. Please encourage your child to learn these words and practise their songs and script words aloud.
We have received a number of generous donations from friends and family of the late Robert Dunbar (a former pupil) and would like to take this opportunity to thank them and assure them that Dunseverick Primary will keep Robert’s memory alive and instil a love of literature and reading in our children.
We have been able to purchase a large amount of new books for both our Accelerated Reader library and our class libraries. Children can look out for the new titles added. We will be sending home some more information about the late Robert Dunbar.

We were absolutely delighted to welcome staff members from Tesco, Ballymoney into our school on Monday 28th November. They came armed with brushes, shovels, window cleaners, cloths, buckets and wheel barrows. The front of our school is looking fantastic after the big clean up.
Christmas Gift Boxes
A template has been sent home for our gift boxes. These are to be designed, cut out and made into a present. A Christmas donation can be put inside before it is sealed.
