Attendance & Punctuality
We would like to remind you that class teaching begins at 9.10am each day. At this time, it is ideal if all pupils are in class and organised for their day at school. Punctuality has a positive impact on learning and the classroom environment.

Bank Holiday
School will be closed on Monday 1st May.

Pupil Assessment
Children will be completing Progress in English and Maths during the week beginning Monday 8th May. P4 and P6 will also be completing Cognitive Ability Tests. We require full attendance this week to facilitate the administration of these tests. Thank you.

School Money
Just a reminder that payments for dinner, after school clubs, 223 clubs and swimming can be paid online. Contact Dawn if you have any queries or concerns.

Friends of Dunseverick
Friends of Dunseverick have asked if families could provide 2 items of non-perishable foods for a hamper which is being raffled at the Craft Fair (27th May 2017). Please leave into school on or before 19th May.

Summer Concert
Katy Graham, our harp and piano teacher, is holding an Evening of Music by her young pupils. This will be held in Portballintrae Village Hall on Friday 2nd June 2017 at 7.00pm. Tickets cost £5 and are available to purchase from Katy and in school. All proceeds are for Dunseverick Primary School. Please come along and support our pupils.

School Shoes
All children should be wear black school shoes to school every day. If children are playing football at break and lunch, they can bring trainers to change in to.

Cups & Trophies
Any pupil who won a cup or trophy last year should now return this to school so that we can get organised for prize day.
If you are in touch with any Yr8s who won something last year please mention this to them.

Causeway Challenge Walk
The event starts at Portballintrae Village Hall on Sunday 30th April with registration for participants strictly between 8.00am and 9.00am. http://www.walkni.com/events/56305/causeway-challenge-walk-2017/

The route will be via the Giant’s Causeway and onwards along the spectacular cliff top path to Portbradden. Walkers will then retrace their steps back to Portballintrae. Entry fee is £6 for adults and £3 for children. Simply enter on the day.
