Well Done
A massive well done to Mrs Scott’s P5/6 class who produced a fantastic class assembly on Thursday morning.  It was lovely to see so many parents and friends in school to support the class.

Open Day
Our open day has been a success and we welcomed new prospective pupils and parents to school.  It was lovely to be able to promote our lovely school and a big thank you to our Primary 7 pupils for helping out on Thursday evening and to our Primary 1 children for helping out today.

Class Assembly

Mrs Bell’s P4/5 class will be taking assembly on Thursday 25th January at 9.30am. Parents and friends of children in P4/5 will be invited to come along and enjoy the assembly and enjoy some tea/coffee and scones after.  More details will follow in the New Year.

Behaviour Award
Well done to P4 and Mrs Scott’s P5/6 class for their behaviour reward this week.  Children will be getting some extra playtime.

Christmas Theatre Trip
Any outstanding permission slips need to be returned and all payments need to be paid by Friday 1st December.

223 Club
Please remember to use 223 club slips for booking a place at 223 club. Slips have been sent home today.

Movie & Munch Night
Friends of Dunseverick are holding a Movie and Munch night on Thursday 7th December.  Permission slips have been sent home today.  Please complete and return to school by Friday 1st December.

Tesco Bag Pack
Friends of Dunseverick have secured a slot for bag packing in Tesco, Ballymoney on Monday 18th December.  We are asking for volunteers to help with the bag pack.  A rota will be put on the front door. Please fill in your name at any time you would be available to help.  We are also hoping to take our P5/6 class to Tesco on the same day to do some carol singing.  P5/6 will get more details of this event.

AQE
Best of luck to our Primary 7 children who will sit their second AQE test on Saturday.

Christmas Dinner
We are looking forward to enjoying our Christmas Dinner in school on Thursday 7th December.

Christmas Jumper Day
On Friday 15th December we are asking all children to wear a Christmas Jumper to school.  Any money raised will be donated to NSPCC.

Thank You
Thank you to all the children and staff who participated in odd socks day.  Children have participated enthusiastically in all our Anti-Bullying activities this week and an added bonus we raised £50 for Children in Need.

Open Day
Our open evening/afternoon for prospective Reception and P1 pupils will take place Thursday 23rd November (6.30pm – 7.30pm) and on Friday 24th November (1.30pm – 2.30pm). If these date does not suit, prospective parents can make an appointment to see around the school.  Please let prospective parents know of these date if their child is due to start school.

Christmas Theatre Trip
We would like all permission slips for Theatre to be returned as soon as possible so we can confirm numbers with Theatre.  Money does not need to be returned until 2nd December.

Friends of Dunseverick
Friends of Dunseverick will be meeting on Wednesday 22nd November in school at 7pm.  Any new parents or friends wishing to come to the meeting will be made very welcome.

Poppy Appeal
Thank you to everyone who supported the Poppy appeal in school last week.  We raised £170.32.

Potato Planting
Mr Bell’s class had a great time at the Giant’s Causeway planting potatoes.  Sorry for all the muddy clothes.

Attendance
A leaflet sent from Department of Education about attendance will be in school bags today.

Derrykeighan Community Association are organising a shopping trip to Belfast on Saturday 25th November costing £8 per seat. Contact Joanne Nicholl (07762673681) for more details and to books seat.
