School Hours

Like many primary schools in Northern Ireland we are considering changing our teaching hours so that school will finish at 2pm on Fridays for all year-groups.

You may have already noticed that several local primary schools have already implemented this in the past few years.

We would really appreciate your feedback on this proposal. If you choose No, please comment on this post and let us know your reasons why you do not think it should change.

Should we change the current school hours so that all pupils will finish at 2pm on Fridays?

  • Yes (78%, 56 Votes)
  • I don't mind either way. (14%, 10 Votes)
  • No (8%, 6 Votes)

Total Voters: 72

The principal will take into consideration the results of this poll, along with the views of the Board of Governors, Teachers, Pupils and any external parties who would be impacted by this change when making the final decision on any change (or no change) in hours.
