Friends of Dunseverick are holding a Break the Rules day on Tuesday 16thApril. Please can all slips be returned to school on Monday 15thApril.

Easter Holidays

School will close at 12 noon on Tuesday 16thApril for Easter. School will reopen on Monday 29thApril.

Lunch Menu

Dinner menu for Monday 15thApril will be: Chicken Bites or Sausages with Garlic Fires/Herb Dice & Veg, Ice Cream and Fruit. 

On Monday 29thApril we will be following Week 2 on the lunch menu.


Can any remaining payments for milk please be paid as soon as possible?

School Photos

Can all remaining photograph orders please be sent to school on or before Tuesday 16thApril.

School Holidays

A provisional list of school holidays for 2019/2020 school year is being sent home today. This is subject to change but we will notify parents as soon as possible when and if any changes are made.


School will be closed on Thursday 2ndMay for local elections.


In summer term children are allowed to wear summer uniform; girls can wear grey shorts/blue or green gingham dresses and boys can wear grey shorts.

Here’s hoping the good weather continues.

P5/P7 Swimming

Mrs Milligan’s P5’s and P7’s will start swimming on Monday 29thApril(1stday back after Easter holidays) Information is being sent home today.

Toberkeigh G.A.

G.A. will start again in Toberkeigh Church Hall on Friday 5thApril 2019 @ 7:00-8:30p.m.  

All girls aged 4 – 15years very welcome!  Bible stories, songs, special guests, crafts and games.

Comic Relief
Comic Relief day is on Friday 24th March. We are having a ‘Dress Down Friday’ (non- uniform) day to celebrate and are asking for a small donation of £1. Parents can donate using SchoolMoney or send donation to class teacher.

Friends of Dunseverick
Tea Towels – There are still some tea towels available to buy.
Tesco Bag Pack – we still need volunteers to help bag pack at Tesco in Ballymoney Friday 31st March. Please come in and fill in your name for an hour slot that suits. Money raised will help buy resources for school.

Breakfast Club
Just a reminder that breakfast club is still running from 8.00am until 8.40am every morning. If your child has to be in school before 8.40am they should pay for (£1.05) and use Breakfast Club.

Easter Holidays
School will finish at 12 noon on Friday 7th April 2017. School will reopen on Monday 24th April 2017. Afterschool clubs and swimming (Mrs Smyth’s class) will start on this day.

Friday will be the last session for bowling for our P4’s. Please remember a change of footwear. A massive thank you to Ian and Chris for their time!

School Money
Thank you to all the families who have signed up for ‘School Money’. We’ve had great feedback and are now setting up a variety of payment options to include after school clubs, music tuition and charity donations etc. Keep an eye on Wednesday Newsletters and text messages for updates. Anyone who still needs to sign up or is having problems please contact Dawn.

P4 Causeway Trip
Primary 4 children are looking forward to a trip to the Giant’s Causeway on Monday 27th March to find out more information about the local heritage site. This ties in well with their current World Around Us topic about Northern Ireland.

Sports Day
Sports Day is provisionally booked for Friday 9th June 2017.

Big Telly Theatre Company
The Big Telly Theatre Company visited school last Thursday and each child had an opportunity to write a wish on a piece of silver ribbon. The launch of this project is on Saturday 25th March in Bushmills, which will include street entertainers, face painting etc.
