World Book Day
We have had a wonderful day celebrating World Book Day. Children enjoyed listening to our special storytellers Billy Teare and Kathleen O’Sullivan. An enormous THANK YOU to everyone for dressing up and bringing in your favourite books. There were lots of big smiles in school today!

Please pass on to friends/relatives who collect children at home time that the PSNI have asked drivers to refrain from:

  • parking on double yellow lines;
  • parking on the footpath;
  • parking within 15m of the junction at Feigh Rd;
  • parking in the designated bus stop.

Thank you for your co-operation!

School Uniform
Please ensure children wear full school uniform to school each day including black school shoes. Trainers can be brought to school to change into for football during playtime.

After – Schools Clubs
Children are reminded that they need to bring a change of clothes for football and dance. There will be NO Eco club or Football next week as Miss Simpson and Mr Bell are on the residential trip to Woodhall.

Portstewart Festival
A massive congratulations to all our pupils who have participated in the festival this week. Good luck to those who still need to perform.

Andy, a volunteer, will be coming into school on Friday 3rd March to work with some pupils from P4 & P5 to enhance an area of the school grounds with shrubs and flowers. P4 & P5 children should bring a change of footwear on Friday. Andy fundraises for ‘Boom Charity’ and also Macmillan Nurses. It would be greatly appreciated if parents would donate 50p or £1 to show our support for these worthwhile charities.

Primary 4 children will have the opportunity to experience indoor bowling in school on Friday 3rd March. Please bring trainers on Friday.

Just a reminder that the final amount for the Woodhall trip needs to be paid this week. We look forward to hearing all about the trip and seeing lots of photographs.

See Saw Playgroup
Seesaw Playgroup is holding a Table Quiz on Thursday 2nd March at 7.30pm in the Community Centre. Admission is £4 per adult and will include refreshments. Tickets will also be on sale for the Easter Draw.
