Sports Day
A huge thank you to all those parents and friends who came along to support us at Sports Day.  It was so lovely to see the children having fun and encouraging one another.  Special thanks to: the Spar in Bushmills for the medals, banner, tea, coffee and juice they so generously donated; to our star bakers who provided so many delicious goodies and of course to Lila, Nora and Moira who raised a fantastic £276.05 selling them!  Thanks also to Judith, Rosemary and Mana for the yummy takeaway lunch – we were really ready for our chips.  Finally to the staff for their work on the day and in advance, especially Mrs Boyd who kept us all organised.  We hope to award the prizes tomorrow in assembly.

Cups & Trophies
We still have a few outstanding cups and trophies – any pupil who won a cup or trophy last year should now return this to school so that we can get organised for prize day.  If you are in touch with a Yr8 who won something last year please mention this to them.

Reminder there is rounders club tomorrow, rounders will run on the following dates: Thurs 9th & 16th June

Sainsbury’s Active Kids
Please remember to send in any more Active Kids vouchers you may have.

Win a Teddy Bear Competition
Any pupils wishing to enter should return their envelope by Wednesday 15th June.

School Closures
Please note school will be closed on Thursday 23rd June to facilitate the upcoming EU Referendum.

P7 Enterprise Day
One Tuesday 14th June P7 will be launching their mini businesses in the hall. Each pupil received £5 to start their own business. All pupils in school will have the opportunity to purchase items from the stalls.  Items on sale include popcorn, top-hats, ice-cream, candyfloss and milkshakes.  Prices range from 40p to £1. P7 are looking forward to finding out who will have the most profitable business and all profits go to school funds.

End of Term
School ends on Thursday 30th June which will be a ½ day for all pupils.  Primary 7 will finish on Monday 27th June after Prize Day.

631 Club
631 Club will run on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 7th, 8th & 9th June and 14th, 15th and 16th June at 6.31pm in McCurdy’s Barn (Whitepark Road).  Come along and bring your friends for Bible stories, choruses, quizzes and prizes!

Swimming Gala
A big well done to our P7 swimmers: Alex, Flynn, Kathryn and Lydia who represented the school brilliantly at a local swimming gala last Wednesday.  The pupils participated in every race and displayed, as always, excellent manners and behaviour.
